Objective 1: Advise the Governor and General Assembly on statewide legislative issues that affects people with Disabilities.

Objective 2: All 21 Governor Council members will meet with their state representative, senators and congressperson by March meeting – GCPD will give talking points and guidelines that will encourage discussion.

Objective 3: Increase visibility and awareness of GCPD at the statehouse, to include developing a mechanism for regular communication with the Governor.
