Partnership Opportunities for Health Professionals

Health professionals (i.e., physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists and speech-language pathologists) can lend their expertise to improving the lives of Ohioans with disabilities by filling one of the following roles within the disability claims adjudication process:

1. As in-house, DDD independent consultants providing medical opinions and assessments;
2. As independent consultative examiners performing one-time evaluations of the disability benefits applicants; or
3. As health professionals providing disability benefits applicants’ medical records to the DDD.
