Kevin Miller has been the executive director of the Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission (RSC) since January 2011.
Director Miller helped launch Recovery-2-Work, an innovative partnership with the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services and the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities, adding employment counseling services to the state’s battle against opiate addiction.
Director Miller brings 17 years of state government leadership experience to his position at RSC. Miller was the executive director of the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology beginning in 2005. He began his Ohio government career at the Ohio Department of Youth Services in 1993, rising to become the chief-of-staff.
Director Miller is a member of the National Autism Society, the Shamrock Club of Columbus and is the president of the Mark J. Youngpeter Memorial Scholarship Fund. He is a former member of the West Jefferson City Council.
Director Miller has a Bachelor’s degree from Ohio Dominican University and a Master’s degree from The Ohio State University.
